"The main piece of software in use in our performance analysis department at Tamworth FC is Nacsport Basic Plus.

Upon trialling the software we have found that it offers an affordable solution to what had otherwise been presented as an expensive problem. Having previously used established performance analysis software such as Sportstec Gamebreaker and Prozone, I believe that the software compares favourably, primarily offering an alternative running on a windows operating system.

The Basic Plus package provides a suitable workflow that allows game footage to be coded and clipped to allow both pre match and post-match analysis to be achieved. The creation of multiple user defined coding templates allows an easy interchange between the different elements of work that are often undertaken by the department.

The multitude of formats in which the videos and clips can be produced is a beneficial factor of the software as it allows workflows to be amended and the videos can be published using presentations, publishing them to a web ready format (m4v) and exporting onto a digital platform such as Team Performance Exchange (TPE).

The support mechanisms in place with the software are a huge positive as I find myself in direct contact and communication with technical support and in the short period of time I have been using the software it has been constantly updated and the support needed has been more than adequately provided."
