We’re just a couple of days away from New Year’s Eve, a time for looking to the future and, of course, reflecting on the days of auld lang syne. And that’s exactly what we want to do in this article…look back at how Nacsport has grown over the last 12 months.

And we’re proud to say that there has been a lot of growth, even when faced with the ever looming shadow of the 2020 pandemic. So, without further ado, let’s take a trip back in time and reflect on the year that was…

The Highlights of 2021

Before we get into it, we’d first like to thank each and every Nacsport user who has been by our side throughout the year. Without you, our hard work would have been for nothing, and it has truly been a privilege to interact with you and support your analysis works.

So, yeah…a loud and raucous THANK YOU, FRIENDS!

Now let’s take a look at some of our highlights…

The Integration of InStat

Let’s start with the newest addition to the Nacsport arsenal. Earlier this month, the Nacsport team were working hard alongside the good people of InStat to bring you all an early Christmas present…the direct integration of InStat data with Nacsport.

This integration represented a huge step in the agreement between both companies. A step that promises to bring a multitude of benefits to both InStat and Nacsport users alike.

New Premises

Obviously, this doesn’t affect you much, but it is one of our highlights of the year. It also handily demonstrates the growth we have already mentioned.

At the beginning of the year, Nacsport moved its offices to a brand-new building. Much more modern, more comfortable and with the capacity to house more staff and grow as we do, this was a portent of a very promising year.

And here's a special message from all the staff here at Nacsport, direct from the new office:

33% More Staff

Which brings us neatly on to this. Throughout the year, we added a plethora of new staff, spread throughout all of our departments. In total, we increased our staffing levels by a full third, a fact that can only be good news for you, the user.

It means we’re working hard to develop Nacsport for the future and, at the same time, offering you more support and technical assistance than ever before. The future’s bright…

New Levels of Communication

Every year, we try to find new ways of connecting with our users, and 2021 was no different. This year, for example, we launched our Spanish language podcast El rincón del analista, an informative show dedicated to the world of video analysis that can be heard on any major streaming platform.

We also organised our first live Instagram broadcasts, bringing you some great interviews with analysts from around the world.

In addition, we began the first stages of completely renovating our website which, admittedly, had started to look a little long in the tooth. The new version is cleaner, easier to navigate, and includes a live chat service so users can get in contact with us quicker and easier than ever before.

More Content and More Courses

One of our major objectives for the year was to make it easier for our users to learn and understand the program better. And we think we’ve achieved this.

First of all, we’ve published over 60 blogs throughout the year, bringing you the best video analysis news, articles and tips every week.

Additionally, we added two new sections to our website containing a wealth of video analysis resources. The eBooks section offers free downloadable books to aid and inform you in your analysis work. There are two books available at the moment, but we will be adding many more in the future. Secondly, we added the Samples section, where we made available a range of button templates, dashboards, and other useful materials to aid beginners and experts alike. Again, these resources are available absolutely free of charge.

We continued to diversify the Official Nacsport Course by expanding the number of sports that users can specialise in. Specifically, we added courses for rugby and Gaelic games.

And talking of education, we closed dozens of agreements with academies, schools, universities, and sporting federations which will ensure that Nacsport is the tool of choice for new up and coming sports analysts all around the world.

The Blackest of Fridays

Lastly, Black Friday 2021 was our most successful ever...meeting and exceeding all our expectations. Everyone was a winner during this campaign as we offered both huge discounts to new users and exclusive deals for current Nacsport users. And, of course, we came out victorious too, adding hundreds of new users to the Nacsport fold.

If you missed out on these massive deals, sorry, you’ll have to wait until next November to see discounts like these again!

And that brings us nicely to…

What to Expect in 2022

Without a doubt, 2021 has been an intense but successful year for us here at Nacsport…but the hard work doesn’t stop there. No, this is just the groundwork for 2022, during which we fully intend to continue growing as one of the benchmarks in video analysis worldwide.

We've got many pokers in the fire at the moment, most of which we can’t talk about just yet…but rest assured, exciting things are coming in the future. We’ll bring you this news as soon as we possibly can.

But, in the meantime, thank you for helping us make 2021 so successful. We can’t wait to see you again in the new year!
