Today, just a few short weeks after the last Nacsport update which brought full integration between Nacsport and InStat, we release the next big update…

…and Nacsport 7.4.0 is all about KlipDraw.

This update marks a huge step in the collaborative efforts between both companies, bringing great benefits to you, the user.

KlipDraw Basic becomes the default drawing tool integrated into Nacsport and will be provided free in every one of our programs. In addition, the KlipDraw Animate interface receives a welcome makeover, and KlipDraw Motion becomes integrable with Nacsport.

So, let’s find out more…

KlipDraw Basic: A New Drawing Tool for Nacsport

KlipDraw Basic becomes the new default drawing tool for Nacsport. This means that the old Nacsport drawing tool will completely disappear, leaving KlipDraw in its place.

From now on, clicking on the drawing icon in any of the environments in Nacsport will open KlipDraw Basic. In case you’re wondering, this change won’t cost you a penny. KlipDraw Basic will be included as standard in every single version of Nacsport.

KlipDraw Animate: Automatic Update

The release of Nacsport 7.4.0 coincides nicely with the release of KlipDraw 4.0, an update that completely overhauls the KlipDraw visual interface in both Basic and Animate, turning it from the classic grey colour to a nice modern shade of blue, exactly as you may have already seen in KlipDraw Motion.

Additionally, there has been some reorganising of the tools in KlipDraw Animate, making the program much more usable and effective.

If you already use KlipDraw Animate with Nacsport, this update will be applied automatically alongside the Nacsport update.

But, rest assured, you won’t lose any of the work that you’ve previously done. The only obvious change will be with the appearance of the new interface. If you would like to know more about these changes, we recommend taking a look at these two tutorials:

KlipDraw Motion: Integrated with Nacsport

The other big change in Nacsport 7.4.0 is that our users can now integrate KlipDraw Motion into any of our programs. Motion, released just last year, is KlipDraw’s flagship product. As well as being able to do all the fantastic things that Animate can do, Motion also features full motion tracking, meaning that users can add drawings to moving pictures instead of being limited to single frames.

If you want more information about KlipDraw Motion, please feel free to check out this informative article, which will show you everything that can be done with this powerful tool.

NOTE: If you already have a KlipDraw Motion license, you must activate it in Nacsport to take advantage of this integration.

Important: A Change of Workflow

These new features also bring with them an important change when it comes to your way of working.

This information is especially relevant to those users who are already used to the workflow that existed previously, and also for those who currently use Animate or Motion and plan to integrate them into Nacsport.

From now on, KlipDraw Basic will be the drawing tool that opens in any environment of the program apart from the presentation editing window, regardless of the KlipDraw program you have installed. KlipDraw Animate and Motion can only be accessed directly from the presentation editing window.

•    If you have KlipDraw Animate, you can only create animations in the presentation editing environment. In any other part of the program, the drawing tool that opens is KlipDraw Basic.

•    If you have KlipDraw Motion, you can only create trackings in the presentation editing environment. In any other part of the program, the drawing tool that opens is KlipDraw Basic

Important: A Drawing Can Only Be Edited Using Same Program on Which It Was Created

Another important thing to bear in mind is that, after this update, drawings can only be modified with the same program on which they were created.

In other words, if the drawing was created with KlipDraw Basic (e.g. from the timeline environment), it can only be modified in the presentation editing environment using this same program.

If you have KlipDraw Animate or Motion installed, KlipDraw Basic will open automatically so that you can edit the frame, but you will not be able to add animations or trackings.

If the drawings were created with Animate or Motion in the presentation editing environment, you can only edit them with the same program that they were created in.

KlipDraw Offer for Nacsport Users

Finally, before we come to the end of this article, we’d like to remind you that trial versions of both Animate and Motion will be available to all our users so that you can see, first-hand, how this integration works.

And remember, we can offer you an unbeatable offer on Animate and Motion licenses. Nacsport users can get a one year Animate or Motion license for the price of a 6-month license.
