Team Tracking Area: Organise, Share and Evaluate Your Analysis

The biggest new feature of Sharimg 5.0 comes within the platform itself. This is a new work environment that allows different areas of the club to connect and share information about players, opponents, teams, tactics and more. This means that everyone can get the most out of the analysis work that is being carried out.

It will save analysts an extraordinary amount of time.

The Team Tracking Area is connected to Nacsport’s auto-presentation feature, where the analyst can create presentations automatically by assigning certain behaviours to the buttons on their analysis template. If you need a refresher on auto-presentations and how to create them, have a read of this article.

These presentations can then be uploaded directly to Sharimg without having to repeat the same processes over and over again. In addition, you can upload multiple presentations and multiple auto-presentations but, be aware that, in order for it to work correctly, you cannot mix the two.

Example: The analyst assigns all the descriptors that represent the players the auto-presentation behaviour. During the season, every time one of these descriptors is used, an auto-presentation is created. When these are uploaded to Sharimg, there will be a profile for each of the different players in the Team Tracking Area which contains all the video clips and data related to that player. 

All of the different profiles which have been created in the Team Tracking Area in Sharimg will be available to all the coaching staff at the club for easy access to the content which the analyst has uploaded to the platform. All of this is presented through a user interface which is intuitive and simple to use.

Comments can be added to the video clips in the profiles, meaning that conversations and discussions of the content can be generated, creating a common space for debate where all members of the coaching staff can participate.

The Team Tracking Area is only available for account Administrators and Super Administrators and is included, by default, in all S1000 plans. It can also be purchased as an add-on for smaller accounts. Check the video below for more information on how this fantastic feature works.

Sharimg Uploader for MacOS: Optimise Your Uploads

The uploader is an app we have already released for Windows to high acclaim. Basically, it’s a desktop application which allows Administrators or Super Administrators to improve upload times and video quality.

The Uploader also allows you to add context information to each video before uploading it. For example, you'll be able to:

 
•    Choose a custom video name.
 
•    Choose a folder in which to save it.
 
•    Write a description of the video.
 
•    Activate highlights.
 
•    Decide who to share the video with.

•    Add your analysis in XML format.

You can also upload multiple videos at the same time. Using this method will limit the above options to choosing who you share the video with.

How to Download and Install the Sharimg Uploader

The Uploader is included in all Sharimg plans at no extra cost. So, how do you get your hands on it? It’s simple…

The next time you upload a video to the platform, a new window will appear with three options:

1. Download Uploader

2. Open Uploader

3. Upload Video from Platform

If you choose the first option - and we thoroughly recommend that you do - the application will be downloaded and installed on your computer and an icon will be created on your desktop for quick access.

From this moment on, you will be able to upload directly from this app, meaning that you don’t have to go to the Sharimg platform to do so.

The second option, “Open Uploader”, simply allows you to do just that if you already have it installed.

The third option allows you to continue using Sharimg in the tried and tested way that you’re already used to...but again, we recommend that you give the Uploader a fair trial!
