Without a doubt, the Nacsport 9.0 update is massive. New tools, new features and improved workflows. And perhaps the biggest news coming out of this update is the launch of Hub, a new product joining the Nacsport family.

Hub is an online platform that allows you to get the most out of your video analysis and improve communication with your colleagues and players.

Nacsport Hub is the natural successor to Sharimg, an online video analysis platform that you may have already heard of. But, as of Nacsport 9.0, Sharimg rides off into the sunset to be replaced by this new product, which is fully integrated into the Nacsport suite of products.

In this blog, we’ll tell you a bit more about Nacsport Hub and show you how it can help improve your analysis work.

So, let’s get started with the most obvious question…

What Is Nacsport Hub?

Hub is the first product in the Nacsport range which is 100% online. We’re talking about a cloud-based platform that improves the daily workflow of analysts and coaches. It allows you to quickly share your analysis online and communicate effectively with your team through a series of tools which have been designed exclusively for this task.

The platform can be accessed through any browser, as well as through the dedicated app for mobile devices and let’s you store, organise, and share videos, analyses, presentations and documents. This is a secure and private space which can only be accessed by approved members of your team or club.

The platform is built around the Team Channel, which acts as a private social network in which members can post videos, comments and polls, opening discussions around team performance and, generally, making the work of coaches and analyst much more fluid.

What Are the Benefits of Using Nacsport Hub?

Hub promises to revolutionise video analysis as we know it, adding huge value and efficiency to your work. It represents a huge qualitative leap that opens the door to workflows where you are no longer limited to the confines of your computer. It makes video analysis more accessible to everyone, from coaches to players, helping to highlight important aspects of the game and improve performance in the process.

So, what are the biggest advantages of using Nacsport Hub? Let’s take a closer look…

Create a Coherent Online and Offline Analysis Ecosystem

Nacsport Hub builds a bridge between the traditional offline suite of Nacsport products and the online world. Anyone can seamlessly connect their offline software to Hub’s online platform, ensuring coherence throughout the process.

This synergy allows the analyst to develop a simple but effective workflow. Upload videos, analysis, presentations and even documents directly to the platform from the Nacsport software. Build online analysis databases which can be worked on, shared and tracked over the course of season.

And this workflow isn’t a one-way street. Videos and analysis data that are saved on Hub can be downloaded at any time and used locally on Nacsport’s offline software.

This closes the circle on the perfect analysis ecosystem in which both offline software and online platform are integrated seamlessly.

Share and Share Alike

As the name suggests, Nacsport Hub has been designed to be the central pillar of your analysis work.

In addition to being constantly online, which means it can be accessed from any location or device, it allows you to upload all the relevant analysis material to the platform and put your valuable insights directly into the hands of the people that need them most.

A Place to Connect with the Team

Nacsport Hub is much more than online storage. Thanks to the Team Channel, it is the perfect meeting place for analysts, coaches and players.

As we said previously, this is basically a private social network for your club which is similar in function and design to Twitter, Facebook or any other social network you can think of.

It’s likely that your players will be more than familiar with this type of communication. Here, ideas can be shared and direct feedback given, making players feel more prepared for the game than ever.

And this is collaborative learning at its purest as it allows players to participate much more actively in the analysis process. They can create their own posts and start conversations based on video clips. In turn, this generates self-awareness and critical thinking, while facilitating self-improvement and bettering overall team performance.

A Tool for Easy, Visual Performance Tracking

Nacsport Hub also has a new tool called the Team Tracking Area which allows you to track and monitor any metric you consistently analyse. In addition, coaches and colleagues will have quick, easy access to this data, which is presented in an easy-to-read, visual manner.

This tool is connected to the auto-presentation function of Nacsport Pro and Elite. By assigning this behaviour to any button in the tagging window, you can create auto-presentations which are then uploaded to Hub. This means that you don’t have to repeat the same process of creating separate presentations and upload them every time you conduct an analysis, saving yourself a lot of time.

With the Team Tracking Area in Nacsport Hub, it’s easy to keep track of all your analysis metrics throughout a season. The process is simple: choose the analysis parameters you want to track, this corresponds to the buttons in the template, and assign them the auto-presentation behaviour. Nacsport will do the rest.

In Hub, you’ll then be able to access video clips and data associated with those parameters for the entire season, competition or tournament in just a few clicks.

A Single Platform for Every Team at Your Club

Nacsport Hub takes video analysis at your club to new dimensions. If there are several different teams, juniors, seniors, male and female teams, for example, each can have a separate and private space within Hub under the same umbrella.

A super account will be managed by a super administrator who will have access and control over the various sub-accounts for each team.

The Perfect Vehicle for Video and Data Exchange

More and more leagues and associations are taking steps to democratise the videos and  analysis data generated during competitions by making it available to every participating team. This means that there is a level playing field when it comes to analysis, with everyone having access to the same resources.

Nacsport Hub is the ideal platform for performing this task

As well as providing private access to each club so that they can provide their resources securely, it also has a system of public folders that facilitate the exchange of information throughout the full network of clubs.

This is a fantastic resource for everyone involved, giving them access to material which can be used for, amongst other things, opposition analysis. This is especially useful in competitions which don’t necessarily have huge budgets and extensive television coverage but, instead, rely on self-shot footage.

Other Tools and Benefits of Using Nacsport Hub

So far, we’ve listed some of the main advantages of using Nacsport Hub, now let’s round up a few more of the more minor, but no less important tools available to you.

This list is by no means exhaustive. There are many other tools available on the platform, but we don’t have all day, so this is just a small selection. The best way to get to know the other tools is by trying the platform for yourself and you can contact us for a free trial at any time.

Team Clips

With this tool, users have the ability to create their own game clips, add context and share them on the Team Channel.

This is a revolutionary way to get every member of the team involved in the analysis process.

Create Polls

As well as sharing video clips and generating conversations on the Team Channel, users can also create polls in which every tagged user can participate. This is simply another method of starting conversations and checking understanding.

Upload Documents

As we’ve already said, you can upload videos, analyses and presentations to Nacsport Hub. But you can also upload documents which complement the audiovisual data. Images, PDFs, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations can all be uploaded and shared.

Nacsport Hub Accounts Are Scalable

There are various Nacsport Hub plans which adapt to the needs of every user. Each plan has a specific storage limit as well as limits to the amount of possible users and administrators that can be added to the account.

Be aware that there are certain tools and features which will only be available for certain plans. Super accounts, for example, are only available in H300 plans and above and the Team Tracking Area becomes available in H500 plans and above, though both of these can be contracted as a separate module for lower level plans too.

We recommend having a look at the Nacsport Hub product and pricing pages on our website to see all the available options.

Of course, if you need more space and users, we’d be happy to create a custom plan, just for you.

For Current Sharimg Users

As we have said, Hub is the natural successor to Sharimg and, in fact, will replace this platform entirely.

If you’re reading this blog and you are a Sharimg user, don’t worry. This change is basically aesthetic and the content you have uploaded will not be affected in any way.

Try Nacsport Hub for Free

Like all other Nacsport products, you can try Nacsport Hub and see the benefits for yourself before committing to your chosen plans.
