Nacsport has a range of products and, while the payment options for each may differ slightly, there are basically two distinct methods of buying Nacsport: annual subscriptions and lifetime licenses.

Both methods have their advantages, so it’s up to you to decide which suits you best. So, let’s take a closer look at each one and see which products can be purchased through each method.

Annual Subscriptions

With this model, you subscribe to one of our software services for a period of 12 months. At the end of that period, you can either renew your subscription or let it expire. If you allow it to expire, the service will be locked and you will be unable to use it.

This option is available for ALL Nacsport products including:

•    Nacsport Basic
•    Nacsport Basic+
•    Nacsport Scout
•    Nacsport Pro
•    Nacsport Elite
 
•    Nacsport Tag&view (iOS app)

Complementary Software

•    Nacsport Viewer
•    Nacsport Coach Station

Online Analysis and Communication

•    Nacsport Hub (various plans available)

Apart from the fact that it is clean and simple, other advantages of this payment option are the lower upfront costs and the fact that you always have the latest version of the software or service. It also gives you a degree of flexibility in choosing which services you want to contract.

However, we do have a second option which is only available for Nacsport Basic+, Scout, Pro and Elite…lifetime licenses.

Lifetime Licenses

So, what is a lifetime license? Well, quite simply, you buy the software outright and it’s yours to own forever.

As we said, this option is only available for:

Video Analysis Software

•    Nacsport Basic+
•    Nacsport Scout
•    Nacsport Pro
•    Nacsport Elite

The advantage of this option is that, after all payments have been made, you own the software and can use it for as long as it’s compatible with your operating system with no additional costs. The upfront costs are higher, but long-term, this will work out cheaper.

The biggest disadvantage is that you purchase the current version of the software and there are no automatic updates to the latest version. As we said, this can affect how the software works, especially in relation to its compatibility with 3rd-party software and operating systems.

The term “lifetime” doesn’t guarantee the software will work forever and Nacsport cannot be held responsible for 3rd-party compatibility issues. 

However, we’ve got a solution to that…the Nacsport Support and Update Service (SUS) which we’ll talk about later.

When it comes to paying for a lifetime license, there are two payment options. These are:

Single Payment

•    Pay the full cost of the software upfront
•    SUS is included for the first 12 months

Spread Payments

•    Three annual payments
•    SUS is included until 12 months after the final payment

So, what is SUS? Well, let’s talk a little about this service which is only available for lifetime licenses…

Nacsport Support and Update Service (SUS)

This is an optional service for users who have purchased a Nacsport lifetime license (does not apply to annual subscriptions).

For a low annual fee, you get access to these services:

•    Unlimited support from Nacsport’s team of experts
•    Access to all current gen Nacsport software updates (9.1, 9.2, 9.3, etc.)
•    Free access to all next gen upgrades (e.g. Nacsport 8.0 to Nacsport 9.0)
•    Guaranteed future proofing against operating system and 3rd-party software updates

Basically, this is an excellent service with huge benefits and very little downsides.

And again, we must stress that this is an OPTIONAL service. If you have a lifetime license, the software will continue to work without this service.

As we said in the previous section, SUS is included in your payment plan for 12 months after the final payment has been made.

If you allow your SUS payments to lapse, you will no longer have access to support and updates. Should you wish to re-engage with the service at a later date, a surcharge may be applied. Contact us for more details regarding this.

Overall, we believe this service is indispensable for Nacsport users with a lifetime license and provides exceptional value for money.
