Daniel Muñoz Reina is first team analyst at Real Betis in Spain and a key member of the club's innovative Analytics Department. In this revealing interview, he discusses how the club is pioneering new real-time methods of incorporating analytical data into on-field strategy.

Over the last 3 years he’s helped develop innovative new ways of analysing football in real time, feeding his observations directly to coaches on the bench and helping them adapt tactics, patterns and performance on the pitch.

After addressing some of the best coaches in Europe at our recent networking event, we grabbed 10 minutes with Daniel to record this video and ask him about the work he’s doing at Real Betis plus how he sees the future of football analytics.
