3 minute readA new update for Sharimg.com arrives today. Version 3.5 sees a huge leap in quality for this online video analysis platform with two new tools designed to improve communication between analyst and team.
Until now, video presentations uploaded to Sharimg from Nacsport were read-only. That is to say, they could only be opened and there was no way to edit the structure or content of presentations.
With update 3.5, this changes completely. The biggest difference in this regard is that users will now be able to create new presentations directly from various environments within Sharimg such as the video detail view, My Analysis, the search function and, of course, within a new or existing presentation.
In addition, existing presentations can be modified, both those uploaded from Nacsport and new presentations which have been created on the platform itself. Users will now have the power to edit registers by adding them to existing lists or generating brand new lists.
With this update, standard users go from being mere receivers of information to actively participating in decision making. The flow of communication now flows both ways as standard users have the ability to highlight actions which have been shared with them and decide which should be added to a playlist.
The administrator receives this information, in the form of clips, and can incorporate them into a presentation. In this way a “conversation” takes place between both parties, improving the video analysis work.
This new feature allows you to select any frame of a video as a thumbnail when it has been uploaded. This means that the administrator can streamline the organisation of the content and allow each video to be distinguishable at a glance.
Sharimg is constantly evolving based on feedback from users and standards of the market. Taking these factors into consideration, the interface of the video player has had a complete redesign, with much more intuitive controls and incorporating buttons which allow users to jump backwards or forwards in video in periods of 5 seconds.
All these new features have been updated automatically, so the user must only sign in to the platform as per usual to access them.
