One of the most important pieces of hardware when it comes to working with Nacsport is the graphics card. For certain processes, such as live capture, your graphics card must be up-to-date with the latest software driver. In this article, we’ll show you where to find this information and how to update your driver.

We’re well aware that, although computer literate, many of our users are by no means experts on the more technical side of computing. We also know that it can be difficult to find the answers to these types of questions. And that’s why we’ve written this blog - to give you all the information regarding your graphics card and its drivers.

So, let’s get started…

Where to Find Info About Your Graphics Card

The first step when updating your drivers should be to find out what type of graphics card is in your computer. This will make it much easier to find the drivers you need, as each make and model will have distinct drivers.

To find this information, go to the Task Manager, which can be accessed through the search function in the task bar.

In the window that opens, click on Performance in the sidebar and click through the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) options. Your computer may have more than one graphics card installed, in which case, you should update them all.

You can find the make of the graphics card in the upper-right corner. Once you have located this information, check the links in the following section and click the one that corresponds to your specific make and model

Where to Find Other Technical Requirements

We quite often get asked about graphics cards here at Nacsport HQ, but this is only one of several frequently asked technical questions. If you need more info about your computer and specifications, the Performance tab in the Task Manager is the best place to look.

We’ve already covered this quite extensively in another blog about Nacsport’s system requirements. If you have more questions about what you need to run Nacsport without a hitch, this is a great place to start.

Of course, if you need even more help about specific requirements, don’t hesitate to get in contact with us at any time and we’ll point you in the right direction. Until then…
