What's New in Nacsport?

We are pleased to announce that our development team has officially released an update that fully ensures compatibility between Nacsport and Apple’s latest operating system.

Nacsport has been thoroughly tested and verified for macOS Golden Gate, bringing complete system stability, seamless video capture and full software performance to this operating system.

You may now safely update to Golden Gate and continue using Nacsport without interruption.

How to Update Your System

To ensure a smooth transition, we recommend following these steps:

Update Nacsport: Open Nacsport and run the automatic update. If automatic updates are disabled, from the main menu go to Support and Updates > Check for Updates and follow the instructions 

Upgrade macOS: After updating Nacsport to the latest release, proceed with upgrading your Mac to macOS Golden Gate.

• Upload multi-angles to Nacsport Hub. Upload up to four linked videos to Nacsport Hub and get a 360º view of the game.

A new Nacsport update is now available for Mac users to ensure that the software is fully compatible with macOS Sequoia.

Nacsport 9.6.2 includes:

• Compatibility with macOS Sequoia
• Fixes related to manual buttons
• Fixes related to import / export of XML files
• Fixes related to the upload of XML files to Nacsport Hub
• Fixes related to button exclusions
• Fixes related to panel flows
• Fixes related to Nacsport Hub presentations
• General improvements

This update allows for the integration of the new Nacsport Live app.

Using this app in conjunction with Nacsport allows you to:

• Wirelessly receive live video and data streams from Nacsport and watch them live via the app
• Review tagged clips and data from your device without leaving the stream
• Review any part of the streamed video on the app at any time and return directly to live stream
• Store video and data locally on your mobile device

In addition, this update includes these features for macOS which are already present in the Windows version of Nacsport:

• Improved find and replace functionality
• Order descriptors by time or establish pre-established order
• New manual button behaviour
• Filter categories and descriptors when adding elements to dashboards
• Keyboard shortcuts for opening the last used analysis and presentation (K)
• Keyboard shortcuts for opening the last used analysis and dashboard (J)

A major new update to Nacsport is now available. Brand new tools and improved work flows including:

• Quick videos and background export
• Auto notes
• Presentation screen and audio capture
• Import analysis in CSV and JSON formats
• Quick drawings to presentation clips

In addition to these tools, there are some QoL improvements to the workflow and system specific tools.

The main content of this update includes:

• Variable labels on dashboards
• Dashboard calculations
• Improved data matrix loading
• Improved data loading in the timeline

Plus various bug fixes, including:

• Fixed keyboard shortcut errors
• Fixed linked angles in the video player
• Fixed video upload to Nacsport Hub
• Fixed import of graphic descriptors in analysis between Windows and Mac
• General performance improvements

Error correction. This release fixes a compatibility issue with the AverMedia Live Gamer Mini in the Nacsport capture module.

Updating is recommended.

In this update, we’ve added a one-step activation and deactivation process for KlipDraw Animate on both Windows and Mac. Now, instead of two separate licenses, only one is needed. This change will be applied to all new licenses and SUS renewals obtained after April 10th, 2024.

As well as various performance enhancements and fixes on both platforms, this update also brings a brand-new version of the Hub Uploader for Mac users, making it easier than ever to upload and share your analysis work.

Nacsport on Mac gets an update, bringing tools to this operating system which only previously existed on Windows. The end goal is to bring complete parity to Nacsport on both Windows and Mac. Read more here.

The latest update to the Nacsport Hub platform brings some major improvements to workflows on the platform, making it easier to filter and work with your uploaded videos, analyses and documents.

In this blog, we’ll show you the fresh new look and talk you through all the changes so you don’t get lost.

Share videos outside your account.

Administrators and Super Administrators can now share videos held in their account with anyone. This is done by creating a public link to the video which can be clicked for access.

The person who you share the link with does not need a Hub account to download the video.

In this blog, we’ll show you the process of creating and sharing public links.

The highlights of this update include:

• Download video clips. Probably the most requested new feature. Allows users to download video clips from the platform to your hard drive.
• Video shortcuts for sub accounts. Adds the ability to share videos between sub accounts without having to move the video to the public folder.
• Superposts. Improves communication by allowing administrators and super administrators post between different sub accounts.
• Folder structures for standard users. Standard users can now open the Hub folder structure, making it easier for them to navigate the platform.

Exchange and Referee - New Additions to the Hub Family

We're also adding two brand-new products to the Nacsport Hub range - Hub Exchange and Hub Referee.

Exchange is an online platform which gives every club in your league equal access to the power of video performance analysis, helping to improve the standard and visibility of competitions.

Referee, on the other hand, is an all-in-one solution for the management and evaluation of game officials and their performance.

Upload your game videos, link and synchronise them for a 360º view of the action.

And, of course, analyse them together. Tag your games directly from the platform, create presentations, add telestration and share clips to the Team Channel - all your favourite Hub tools and more.

This update allows users to view video clips that contain drawings made and shared on the Nacsport Hub web platform.

This update is available for both the Android and iOS versions of the app.
